hi there. i know it's presumptuous to think you might want to see pictures of my family's first camping trip in the bus, but in the off-chance you might like to, here they are. this is our first trip to natural bridge. the mighty james river was very beautiful this weekend.
cheers!

That looks like a busy bus in there. All buses should be busy and fun.
You have done well. |

that does look strange. but actually, that's the husband, and i think it's just an illusion brought on by the fact that he is filling his glass from the box of wine which happens to be the same color as the wine "glass." who knew that target had boxes of wine? they're quite the deal and the squareness makes for easy packing.
and it was a busy bus. i like how the pictures show all the beer and baby bottles scattered about. now that's what i call camping.
thanks for the compliments about my family (bus included). i always like showing them off. _________________ 74 Super Convertible (Green Monster - Go Sox!)

How sexist of me to assume that you were a man. My apologies…
Now I see the wine box and the pouring…the haze is clearing up! I am all for boxed wine! Great invention... _________________ Cheers!

that's okay. sometimes the posts are from me, i.e. check out these pictures of my bus, let me help you with your westy fridge, and other times they're from the husband, i.e., i put on the new exhaust today or i'm going to put on a hot start so i don't have to hit the starter with a hammer after long trips. we're quite the egalitarian household.
and yes, yea! for boxed wine. target's selection is super good. _________________ 74 Super Convertible (Green Monster - Go Sox!)

I love the contrast between the post and the sig.
"...female president."

Nice looking bus and a great looking family there! Congrats on getting them all out on the road for a little fun & camping! Looks like y'all are having a blast! On MY maiden voyage camping trip I blew one of the fuel lines off while backing out of my garage to go to the campout. Needless to say, I was a little late arriving. |

the bus wouldn't start when it was time to leave (kids all buckled in, canoe on top of the car) so the husband was underneath it with a screwdriver and a hammer while i sat up front and gave it gas. we were right next to other "normal" campers who looked kind of freaked out by the whole process. got her started though, and have ordered a hot start relay to put on there. the best part was that i don't think we looked phased by it at all. it's perfectly normal to have to wail away on your starter with a hammer so you can leave the campground right? that's all part of the fun. _________________ 74 Super Convertible (Green Monster - Go Sox!)

Yup, and when that did not work then my wife would push start our bus. She got really good at it! Our marriage has been much better since the hot start relay arrived... _________________ Cheers!

it's not called taking a picture when you have a young daughter, it's called staging a photo shoot. we have several series of similar photos with the entire range of coy facial expressions.
they are great. i wish you lived closer so we they could camp together. _________________ 74 Super Convertible (Green Monster - Go Sox!)

Canoe on top of the bus (pop top?)? I've been wondering about this, as I've got a canoe and want to take it camping, but I didn't think it'd bode too well for the fiberglass... |
