I purchased a Wolf for " Helga" an 82 A/C Westy from Go Westy about two years ago and it liiks just as good today as it did once I put it on her.
I do hose her off once a week and once a month I use some Meguires vinyl cleaner and conditioner.
I noticed the prices have gone up from $89.00 to $115.00. |

I have had a Wolf Bra--cheesey.
The one offered by VW is also lightweight.
I then found Autoanything.com, and the Colgan automotive bra.
Colgan offer's a heavier duty bra to keep the nose of your Van stone and rockmark free. _________________ T.K.

I stand corrected..............the bra on Helga is a Colgan, not a Wolf as I earlier stated.
As far as the Wolf being as Terry described; I cant say as I have no knowledge of them.
Sorry for the mix up |

Be sure to check out autoanything.com for prices on a bra for the nose of your van--
And seeing as it's getting awfully close to car cover season---they also carry custom made car cover's--and they will beat anybodies price, anywhere--plus free shipping.
Both my Westies are under their blankets right now--
Covercraft Noah covers--
I couldn't beat the price's I got from autoanything.com anywhere. _________________ T.K. |

The bra I got from GoWesty for my 84 this past winter is a Colgan. I dig it.
First attempt to put it on was a pita. Didn't warm it up enough first, and had to abort the mission. Here it is pictured laying out in the sun. After heating it up for a number of hours, we stretched it hard - really put your weight into it. It went on pretty easy after that.

I had a Colgan for my last Vanagon, and got a Wolf cheap on Ebay which I use now.
Why I like the Wolf better:
1. It does not go over your wipers, it stays beneath them. The bra does not get in the way of the washer jets the way my Colgan did sometimes.
2. The top horizontal strip of the Wolf has an elastic band with rubber-coated hooks on the ends, and it stays in place better. It does not flap in the wind at the top the way the Colgan did.
3. The Wolf has hooks that go all the way underneath the front corners and hook into the holes underneath the Vanagon, keeping the bra nice and tight vertically. The Colgan does not go all the way down.
YMMV... _________________ Joe T.

Jpe,
I think you have everthing reversed here.
The Wolf Bazziere doeen't do everthing that you have suggested , the Colgan fits just as you mentioned. _________________ T.K. |
