Just heard about that on the news this AM. Thankfully for me, everything around here is bottled in CA.
Good to know the brewery is doing everything possible to make it right. _________________ nothing |

Have not yet had the Shugga either. |
Found it last night.. totally by accident.. swung to a local (southern chain) grocer.. that is known for their cheap mass beer.
Strolled down the cooler isle...All be damned.. there. it was, top shelf.. "Lagunita's Brown Shugga" on closeout.. $8.99 a ... SIX..... pack.
Got em chillin' .. yet to partake.
I was already warned.. be ready cause its heavy..
May go well with the continued kitchen remod..

A dollar per bottle is a good deal, but I didn't know they sold 9-packs... _________________ 1988 Ford Festiva L

Last night.. running around (really driving) all over 3 counties to find enough freakin' glass tile sheet back splash for our kitchen redo. .. ended up at a local labeled diner on a river. Good prime rib.. and pretty decent variety beer selection.
Beer.
Was diggin' some names they had lined up..perfectly
There was a local "Naughty Girl" followed by "Good Wood"...
I was instantly laughing..as it was obvious the menu planner had a sense of humor.
The Granite Falls Naughty Girl.. was good.. but not too naughty ... very light Pale Ale.
My second choice Howard's Lake fever Black IPA was sold out.. Booooo....sooooo
They dropped a Devils Backbone on me.. Good stuff.. but I've had it before.
Plus they had this on the wall in a few places as art.. .. so can't be too bad.. right...

^^^ Much better than the "art" on the walls of most of our local establishments.
Had one of these last night. Tasty.

Sorry to hear about this. If I could get that here, I would have one, too.
But, I do have a couple from the SECOND oldest brewery in the US. I'll tip one of those instead.

Lager is some good stuff, but Lager is not Premium
Premium is the "locals only" Yuengling beer (Pottsville Pa area) that last time I checked was only available in a small distribution area near the PA brewery. I've never seen it anywhere else but in eastern PA, and I'm tapping in to my last 6 pack, bummer. Then again, Lager used to be a local thing too, until Yuengling got all big and stuff.
Premium was my friend's favorite beer for sure. Thanks for the thought cdennisg. _________________ thebucket: I invested in hoodride, now DBD won't return my call?

Yes the other beer further up the page, Colorado Native is not sold outside Colorado. I like and appreciate regional brews. No pun intended but we are living in a golden age of brewing in America. |

Then the West Coast is Heaven.
I've been enjoying some of Track 7's Blood Transfusion and Citrus Mistress from Hop Valley. _________________ Your Vanagon sucks, Stop waving at me.

I enjoy virtually all styles, and many different brews, although I do tend to stick to traditional brewing methods. There's too much variety out there to limit oneself to one brand or style. Life's too short to drink cheap beer, although I've been known to get the occasional 30-pack just for swilling. I'm a semi-avid home brewer, too. I make a Russian Imperial Stout that will curl your toes... The beer I was using to bolster my mechanics skills when I pulled the tranny out of our Beetle this weekend was Moosehead lager. |
