I appreciate the response. I really do know what it stands for. Honest.
It's just in that 1 particular magazine ad, at the bottom of the page, it says "Empi Means Product.....something"

I just wanted to know what the "something" was. That's all I wanted to know.

Ultimately, it don't matter, so don't even bother.

Not a EMPI product, but this is a chrome Bosch 010 used in one of the EMPI Inch Pinchers.

From my interview with Joe Vittone, founder of EMPI:

"EMPI Means Product INTEGRITY"

That is straight from the tapes I still have when I interviewed him for VW Trends.

Not rare or vintage.
Made in Europe in the late 90s, early 2000s, as evidence by the spelling of " tyres ".
