Repros will not be SG keyed and I do not believe that the tumblers are interchangeable either. Keep your eyes open or post a WTB in the classifieds. The original handles can be found! _________________ Never drive faster than your Angel can fly

T handles are keyed according to year. SG keys were used from 1954-59. SE, SU & SC coded locks were used from 1960-64. Examine the shank of the T handle. The flat area is where VW would have stamped the key code. |

Thanks for the replies guys.I see a part number,but no key code number.The flat area reads 113827571 and what appears to be a "B". _________________ '57 oval window deluxe,Agave green(L240) 2276cc w/51.5 IDA's
