So I need a few pieces for my 60 Panel. Does anyone make replacement parts that are the correct metal thickness? If so, who and who sells them please?

Thanks guys, still not sure if the parts are the correct metal gauge, I've read a lotta posts about people complaining about replacement panels being too thin and advising that people find a donor bus to chop up for spare body parts Shocked

Thats the crap you get from WW or CIP1 from what I understand, Klassicfab uses stock thickness, but you can e-mail them & ask, same with oldvolks.com, go straight to the source, they'll be more then happy to tell you

Our metal aka Klassic fab is all made of either 18 or 20 gauge. It is either the same or thicker then original. It's good steel also, so when you weld it you won't get blow outs fom contaminated steel.

Pictures! Always with the pictures! I swear I've taken more pictures of my bus than I have of anything else with the possible exception of my children Shocked

This is a pizza I made, someone told me once that I made ugly pizzas..

Lower nose skin, might be salvageable, not sure, depends on how straight I can get it and if it falls apart as I'm beating on it!

Pass. side dog leg, going to cut the rusted section out and see how far the rust goes, doubt if it's salvageable tho.

Battery tray.. yikes!

Cargo floor is kinda bad, prolly just need a small section for that, not sure, I need to clean it out and sand blast it!

Pass. side front floor panel.. again yikes!

Not bad I guess, considering it's 47 years old. The underside looks pretty good, I will know more when I get under there with a fine toothed comb!

Oh s**t I just noticed there's a door handle down there, I wonder if it's OG!

I agree. That is nothing for rust. Hell I don't think I have ever saw that much of an original battery tray.

That must have been a 70's thing to throw away your OG door handles and buy these from Warshawski's cause I swear - I have bought like 4 busses that came with those damn handles.
