Thanks! I was looking at it yesterday and I think I need to paint the drums calipers and middle of the rotors. Maybe get the kind of paint made to paint calipers. |

How are people successfully running 15x5 EMPI 4x130 Sprintstar repops on swingaxle cars? I'm down 3 inner splines in front and have a bit of rubbing. Haven't lowered the rear yet. This is the height I want to be at (in the front)... do I get wheels with a different offset?
Stock (I believe) is 46mm offset. These wheels are listed as 25mm. Would it be ok to take the fronts to a machine shop and have them bring them to about 35mm? _________________ '67 Squareback

You could get narrowed control arms, I think it was Old Speed who was making them. |

I'll give them a shout. Brought it up a notch in the front last night and it's good for now. _________________ '67 Squareback

Some wheel options I have for my Fastback. In the back are Ronal Kleeblatts I plan to restore. Fronts are Marathon/Baja Champion wheels I sprayed silver. Had them in white on My squareback but now run silver TurtleBacks.
Squareback picture is five years old, I now have L 87 pearl White fiberglass euro bumpers on the car. I need to upload more recent pics! _________________ 1957 Oval Semaphore Beetle

These look like the 16.5" chrome Jackman wheels I had on my '73 Chevy 4X4 pickup. _________________ https://imgur.com/user/FisherSquareback/posts

Thanks for posting this. I was wondering if the 5.5 in the front would work for a lowered car, but it seems it won't as the tires would rub the fenders. |

Looks like it needs more accessories Greg. Looks good though.
Bobnotch,
Here's one with more accessories and running the EMPI Sprint Stars with Redlines but I really like the VW Accessory Formula Vee Mag Wheels.
