|
|
Hey all - I've got a '69 ghia with airbag suspension and I want to know if I can run 145's in the front without rubbing. Beam is stock width and the rims are 15x5.5". I have 135's on there now but they're a little squirly on the freeway.
Thanks!
Oh, and can anyone post or send me a picture of their rear pop-out windows and quarter post/seals? I'm trying to figure out how the moulding and seals fit and have no reference for it. I tried searching but there isn't really anything that clearly shows what I'm looking for. That would be awesome. |

post some pictures of yours, I'd be keen to see it.
visit www.vlkwgn.blogspot.com the ghia there is wearing 145/65/15's and I would guess doesn't rub, although it is very narrow! _________________ '54 Beetle - current

Damn, that thing is sweet. That beam is pretty damn narrow...
Mine's not quite in that class, but I'll post pics as soon as I'm finished with the rear and have the new engine in it. The interior won't be done, but the paint is nice.
Maybe a week or two away. Thanks for that link - very inspiring. |
