The split bus has been used by many as a medium to express their creativity and individuality, with
results that are sometimes inspired; often unfortunate. Let’s see pics of the real oddballs out there; not
your common or garden hacks, but the truly weird and wonderful.

Its a work of art.

Did someone say art?
Here's the world's most expensive split bus as part of an art exhibit:
Then there's this one....
This one's technically not a bus....but it's certainly art!
Here's one of my favorite "psychedelic buses", the "free loop" bus from a few years ago.
(There are many varieties of this theme, although you sure don't see them around like you used to....)
The bus made famous at Woodstock....
Lastly, most of you guys are probably too young to remember the art found inside falstaff caps....
(Of course, any logo'd bus is truly a work of art....) |

Yeah, I was just wondering what had happened to it. That's not an old pic of Ronnie's really nice DC that he just got on the road a few months ago, is it? _________________ '60 Kombi

It's still in my yard, though being cut up now. Gerson cut the B pillars out for patterns, the 3rd door is going on a 57, the OG windshields are going in another bus and the front doors are being used on another bus. The front floor is also going into another bus. A true piece of 30 year old creativeness. It has an OPAL engine in the rear . I did drive it at the CLASSIC a few years back!
The 12 pack is now gone, bribery for the trash man to do an extra dump of my trash container. _________________ Stocking distributor of "The Funky Green Panels"
