That's where the "professional" couldn't marry up the bus roof that was cut at its highest peak with the lower profile of the donor truck roof/window/bulkhead. Slap a piece of metal in the gap and smooth it with Bondo and....Voila!....Kustom DC!

What kind of professional was it done by? I mean, I'm a professional graphic designer, that doesn't mean I can do bodywork! Laughing

I saw this posted on FB but decided to see it for myself this past weekend. Located in the former mining town of Randsburg California off of Highway 395 is this hack. I hear the owner wants 50k for the “Magic Bus.” 😳

Here are a few more pics of the Magic Bus. I stopped in a few years ago and the owner was there and gave me a tour. It's a really neat old rig. He built it many years ago (obviously) and told me the story of the wrecked 23 they widened and put on top. It has a cast iron stove inside for heat and a very small circular staircase that leads up to the "penthouse". It's a well built camper that I would own and enjoy just the way it is, but not for 50k.

Oooops.

The best laid plans of mice and men often go awry Smile

Actually, all it needs is the roof from that one up there ^^^^^, and it could be made back into a decent Bus.

Bahahah. That peak looks like one of those Bus boats is on top.

I'm confused how the rear hatch opens since it has no handle.
Push from the inside?
Screwdriver in the lip?

The interior is almost as weird. I zoomed in to try to work out what the board was for that's mounted on the dash, then spotted the leash Shocked Kinky Laughing
