I have a 69 bus the are picture's of the bus, motor and alternator set up under Gallery 68-79 Deluxe. "Back n Black".
2nd alternator has 3 wires on top a red -S, a brown with white stripe-F, and a Brown -L.
How would i hook these wires up to make it work properly?
Alternator is out of an 88 buick or 88 olds or 89-90 pontiac lamans or a 88-94 sunbird.
S is sense wire 12volt wire to battery, F- is feild to CPU. central processing unit don't have that, L is for indicator light. L wire to light, light wire to fuse and fuse to 12 volt switched.

Pretty hefty load on your primary alternator/fan belt. I would be real worried about this causing excess slippage and overheating. |

What are you doing with the second alternator? You could have a second battery to run whatever you need so much power for - a kicking stereo I would hope!!! Then have the second alternator charge the second battery?
Just a late Saturday night hunch.. don't put too much merit in it! _________________ '71 Westy |
