why did you pull bump stops?? thinking of getting better shocks, kinda bouncy,, running kyb's now. |

I thought I remember reading somewhere to yank them off when you dropped the rear, I did so and haven't had a problem. This is my daily driver and i drive it pretty hard.
How low is your car? kyb's are good shock, but chances are they are gas shocks that you have. I just replaced my fronts with empi oil shocks and they made it a bit less bouncy. |

this is my new car...(formerly cage66's)
it has a 6.5" beam drop spindles
down roughly 2.5 notches. Will have extended springplates soon.
165 in the back 165/45 front
the pics are without an engine

This is Matilda. Specs are:
FRONT
Nankang 135R15
painted stock steelies (4 inch)
TNT Auto Service 5" narrowed beam with SAW adjusters, stock needle bearings, no shocks
CB drop spindles
no caster shims yet (need longer bolts)
stock drum brakes
REAR
some old 165R/15
painted stock steelies (4 inch)
stock IRS dropped I THINK 2 outer splines
urethane spring plate bushings (sanded to fit)
notched spring plates (need to be deeper)
stock length oil shocks (something cheap from AutoZone)
stock drum brakes

2'' beam with dropped/welded spindles
3.5 centerlines in front.
6's in the rear w/firestone slicks, dropped 2 notches
