I was in Colombia when Tobondo came up for sale. I called Sanders from Gersons shop to go see it and he had 2 buyers allready he said. This was with-in 15 minutes of the "on the list" e-mail going out.
Sanders said to come on by to check it out, but changed his mind when I told him Gerson was going to bring me.
It only took a little research Colombian style to find out which BD in Colombia could warrant 45K and this is NOT the one I thought of or have seen in person.

As for the Swedish bus Gerson has a couple COMPLTETE BD chassis and everything else to have a rolling chassis for that bus IN STOCK. It could be where ever needed with-in a week and with the NEW complete A pillar dies almost complete one of the last pieces of the puzzle will be available.
Less then 10K of Klassic Fab parts would buy about every piece of metal to rebuild that bus.

Cool Ronnie.....sounds like Gerson is hard at work to get you the metal......let me know when you have it "In Stock".... I will make the trip to see you

Have what in stock? It goes as soon as it comes in. Need metal, place an order.

As of today, front floor repair sections, battery trays left and right, cargo door rockers, inner rockers, jack points, outriggers, short and long rockers, lower dogleg repair pieces, A B C pillars, long side b andc pillars, cargo floor repair sections, inner outer valances, lower nose repair sections, cargo door inner frames and outer skins, flat lip wheel well repair sections (seam to seam on the cargo door side), 57 and earlier decklids, truck battery trays, top hats, and other stuff I can't remember.

On it's way up by the second week of September; full cargo floors (Bus, SC,DC) SC and DC beds, complete front floors, complete rockers all around for SC and DC's, lower windshield repair section, tall long side rockers, early and late belly pans, other stuff and more to replace what's listed above.

The problem is most of this will be sold by next week. IF you need something PLACE the order. It will take at least a year before I will be able to keep everything in inventory at the pace it's selling. I have recieved 5 LARGE box loads just in the last week and it's half gone allready.

Coming soon- COMPLETE A pillars, lower seat stand repair sections (lower 4 inchs of where floor welds), lower front door repair sections, stamped rear lower corners, skylight sections (inner and outer) and a host of other items as time allows.

thanks Everett for deleting about 13 posts Exclamation in this Topic, from the last 3 days..... you're right that you did this... don't know if people asked you too, or if you just did it by yourself, but I feel better now, the whole "insulting thing" between some people was just too much, and as I wrote last night, this forum isn't the right place for sh*t like that!! So thanks for deleting it Everett, I hope all the people involved will talk about something else in the future!! ...if all this was still here, I would've mailed you today to see if you could do anything about it...

I guess no one here likes "TOBITA" Laughing

I like it but not for what he is asking for it Shocked

...even if "she" wasn't restored like it should, yes, Tobita is nice enough... looks a bit weird with the "replaced" front roof-section, and a lot of welding wasn't done with the correct panels, I guess they used homemade panels only Sad but, Rich, what is the asking price please?? if you don't want to put it in this tread, could you PM me the price?? ...just to know, I can't pay it anyway!!

I was told 45K and that included shipping

Damn now I dont feel so bad trading my oval for mine as bad as it looked. Laughing

I remember seeing a pic of that bus on a trailer a few years ago when Skim bought it.. I was thinking wow.. Now, after what I have seen done with busses in the last few months of looking.. thats no problem.. Those UK guys seem to start with almost nothing, and TONS of rust.. Anything is fixable..just how much time and money do you want to throw at it..
