[email protected] is absolutely 100% a scammer.
I recognized that email immediately.
His email is already blocked.

I will make sure [email protected] is blocked too, although they probably won't use that for ads contacts or to create an account

Has anyone received an offer to buy your vehicle, and fake Paypal emails from an Andrew Nist? Email address: [email protected]

The emails are the return address of: Confirmation via PayPal®
[email protected]. The spelling is slightly off and grammar too informal to be actual PayPal, and the instructions are odd on the emails, that I only respond to those emails and not to the PayPal app. Rolling Eyes

I get payments from Paypal all the time and this is a very odd way to get notified.

He claims to have sent payment and "extra" to pay for shipping and giving to his courier, which will only accept Zelle, that he doesn't have. Her name is Kamala Henderson of Illinois.

SCAM! He says he found my ad on The Samba, so wondering if this has happened before with this particular guy.

If he is a member I suggest he be blocked immediately. I have take screen shots of everything if anyone is interested. Thanks.

Scammer email.
I'm not sure how they get people's direct emails but it's probably scammers who saved emails from past people they have tried to contact or got contacted by in the past.

Do NOT open the attachment, it could be a virus!

Thank you for posting

Nah, It's generates different names all the time and all from "non registered users". Just got 5 more..

Always nice with interest for old vw from the opposite gender, but they could be a bit less promiscuous. Laughing

If any real female is asking about a part for sale today I guess it's going straight to the trash by misstake.. Confused

If Michele is a registered member I would think, based on these recent emails, that the account should be cancelled.

The scammers have been texting people with a message and website link that leads to a fake Samba login page:
Text message with a link to a "free" website:

Fake login page on that website

If you look at the address line at the top, this website is NOT from TheSamba.com

It's from "webhostapp.com"

If you enter your username/password on that page, they will steal your account information and use it to post scam ads here.

An email or a text?

There is a valid email that goes out on Mondays for ads that are about to expire and it does look like you have an ad that just expired.
(Maybe you deleted it?)

If you're unsure, please forward it to my email address listed below so I can check it out.
