Hey Zeus, what's your opinion of late bus, 68/up? I think they should break it down by Bays (68-79) and Vanagons (80/up). They broke SBs into a seperate class, why not segregate Bays and Vanagons? |

i agree j, it would make it easier for people to be sent in the direction they specifically are seeking help with instead of being general, its similar to combining beetles and thing's into 1 group _________________ Mike

There seem to be few Vanagon posts. Perhaps this is why they do not have their own category. |

This is much better--- does anyone know if the vertical piece of tin that goes from head to head at the flywheel end of the motor on a 70 bus is any different than that of one from a bug? Somehow mine looks too short?
There seems to be a large gap between the engine tin and the body? Thinking maybe the PO might have switched it? The mounts are all in good shape and tight and it shifts fine so I'm thinking that the engine cannot be out of alignment? Also the rubber seal is in place. |

I don't mind the vanagon questions being in here, they'd probably get very little help or traffic on their own. Jeremy |
