Its Sat. nite,I'm going to cruise the 73 bug up to a parking lot & look like a hoodlim,My buddy is rolling out his 65...I suggest you go drive your bug like it was meant to be on a muggy weekend nite..Discuss amongst yourselves I'm going to check my oil,That is all.

oh my god it was somewhere close to 400 degrees out there today. i looked at my bug and said no way. i did feel a little bad but there was no way i was folding myself into that hot pocket mircowave sleeve i call my beetle and cruising tonight.
cooler temps tomorrow though. it will be done.

good for you though. you make us all proud.

Yes the bus counts....I drove mine with the vent windows open I caught a cool breeze...My car ran smooth ,stronger than it has in a while...The only issue was when I made back it to the house I noticed my brake lights had stopped working..odd they were working whenI left...damn

Have you contacted the members of the "Vintage Volkswagen Club of America" chapter in Raleigh? The POC is Richard Hucke. He can be contacted at 919-870-0167 or [email protected]. I believe he is out of town until next month though...
