Why not just make a custom set of wires with a Y splice in them. Then you could just run one distributor. |
I don't think electrickery works that way |

CPR Video on youtube...

Not bad if you ask me. Better yet ask Chico! His opinion should out weigh anyone of the previous posts.

If you like to read test results:
http://www.vwtrendsweb.com/tech/0109vwt_volkswagen_exhaust_test/
Tests prove that these are better than stock. But remember, there are better systems (A1, etc.) to maximize your engines individual potential.
I cruise at a low altitude like you so I understand your query.

how well will this exhaust work with a 1776 with daul 40 kads

That is the single most POS exhaust made IMHO. The ONLY thing it has going for it is the claim it fits the stock exhaust cutouts in the apron. Even then, mine don't line up and are too close to the rear bumper. I think the stock exhaust was actually better than this one.
My $.02 |
those atleast have a equal length header setup
no the most POS exhaust ever made for vw was the 4 tip monza style
they flow worse than a standard pea shooter system
and last a whole 2 weeks on an ungaraged car b4 falling to bits _________________ Quick little bug, you got a Porsche motor in that?

Have you seen the thread in the Beetle '58-67 forum about "lowest nonbagged Bug?" Laughable bullshit in that thread, Jason, especially from a couple of less-than-bright guys who vocally express their disregard for their own and others' safety... the pics do all the talking. |
