A quick search of the Gallery for "door handle" came up with 122 matches. One of the hits references this thread: http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=199241
About half way down, EB posted a picture of a '67 door handle with the key code visible. A '65 is slightly different, it's usually on the side of the flat part of the lock actuating thingy, not on the pin like in the picture. Also, a '65 should have a T code i.e. T1234. Good luck.
