|
|
I'm interested in seeing what SO33 owners doing for floor covering in the rear camper area. Our SO33 has pieces of plywood fastened to the bases of the seats and a loose piece of plywood filling the space in front of the doors. Should a piece of carpet fit on top of that plywood?
A search on this site and Google haven't turned up a lot, other than poor quality pictures of what appears to be a piece of cut and bound short pile carpet. Is that what Westfalia originally put in these units? If so, does anyone have good pictures, or measurements, or a pattern for cutting the carpet? Carpet material and pile??
Any help will be much appreciated. |

Also wondering about what material was used on the inside of the side rear entry doors, on the rear hatch, and on the ceiling/headliner area of the cab. Judging by the loose pieces that came with the 1964 SO33, they used some sort of 1/8" thick hardboard of several types.
Are those pieces available from suppliers, or are people making up their own replacement pieces out of hardboard or ?? |
