Where can I find two screw clips for the door pull on a 66 split? I Google away and it's like everyone avoiding the subject. A standard hardwaee store screw clip is too short.
Little help? _________________ Measure carefully..metal stretchers are expensive. |

Is it the N154301 speed nut?
And M4.2 appears to be metric for a #8 screw size.
You might try this if you can't obtain the VW genuine part:

They have lots of Hillman U clips, you want the #8 size, probably. _________________ Founder and Chairman Emeritus, ECMSAS

width of original clip- 11mm, length 25 mm. They are available but an unusual length. They are known as speed clips, perseverance and you should find some - I did but had to buy 10 of them as a minimum order. _________________ the invisible and the non existent look very much alike |

Drive to your local car stereo shop- the one that's been open forever.
Ask them for a speed nut- the kind that used to come with every surface-mount speaker kit. Good shops stocked a small variety of these nuts. _________________

I wonder what the nut looks like.
