I was thinking that since my '63 KG has no heater boxes, will all of the available fresh air heater parts fit on my original 40 hp engine? Kevin Kelley

The only big difference is the earlier engine cases do not have the lower outer holes drilled to mount the inner sides of the lower tins AKA sled tins. Perhaps your 1963 was built before mid DEC62? If so, the stale air heating system would be stock for your Ghia.

Before you get very far down the path of restoring the heater boxes, check out the rest of the heat-ducting in the car first.

I learned the hard way; the exhaust heater boxes are only the beginning.
