73 doors on a 70 Beetle

Hello, Any reason why 73 doors won't fit a 70. Both are standard Beetles.

Would the '73 doors fit the '70 if they were super beetle doors?

Super doors are the same as standard doors

The only difference is unless you want to get creative and weld the armrest brackets from the 70 onto the later doors you'll need to use the 73 armrests that screw on.
The depression under the outside door handle is different too but all this is cosmetic stuff the doors will bolt right on.
