I didn't realize that the old steel lines are now replaced with hoses... that's how clueless I am. Thanks to JudoJeff for explaining via PM. It all makes a lot of sense now.

These two videos are very helpful, btw.

My father replaced the stock steel ones on my Syncro in the 1990's and trying to fish the hard lines in was a pain, I had to replace them again a while ago and went with the soft lines from Bus Depot and have been very happy with them.
