Beautiful job on this project.

Any pix of the engine and the dual carb system? What did you do for the manifolds?
I need to build a dual carb system for the Radclyff copy.

Ahh, very nice. The "Mystery KDF" speedometer is a very nice touch, suits it well.

I remember it came up this year, wasn't the verdict that it's probably an MB Tach from the 40s? Do you have the date it's from, if it was stamped?

Beautiful car and collection, Christian.

My mistake - that's what I meant to type.

Do you know the origin or date produced? It's a very nice piece.

bjorn, pics are down. Smile

this is def one of the sickest cars to be kept alive. i love the exhaust setup on the KDF motor. BUT, all in all, i want to know, how in the hell did they connect that aircraft motor to a VW trans, that is sick. those guys had some getRdun ingenuity back then. i wanna know how much power that particular aircraft engine made, sheesh if it broke the trans. had to have at least 100 maybe more. Smile imagine driving it with the aircraft motor before the trans would brake, wooooowee what a ride. hehe

If the site did in fact go down, you might try out www.photobucket.com for all your photo posting needs.
