I have 2 retrievers who often ride in the far back of my Westy. I usually can't see out the back window for the nose prints. Laughing

My pooch will turn anything into a headrest. And when she does, she's pretty much mastered the pathetic pout look.

Cheers!

We lost this fellow to the maladies of age a few weeks ago, but on a roadtrip earlier this year he was in full form, navigating:

and checking the pedals to make sure you're driving right:

He actually developed that habit long ago when we would always stop at the river to go S-W-I-M-M-I-N-G (couldn't say the word near him unless you wanted to be mauled in the excitement). He took to looking at my gas pedal foot when we neared the river, because he knew that if we were going to stop, the very first thing that would happen was that my foot would come off the gas. If my toe so much as flinched, INSANITY!!

Bye bye, Rio. We miss you already.

And here's the rest of the fam, trying to look their best for the camera:

Sydney is a fifty pound Aussie. She's been my best friend for eight years, and loves to travel and make new friends.
