Is there something out there that will fit?

Those are pretty cool but not quite the fat stacks I was hoping for...maybe something spun aluminum?

That will be a great fall back though Glenn...thanks for the link.

They look cool but dyno results don't prove they are better on a street car

I would think that they would breathe better without the air cleaners and that would help performance wouldnt it?

They also sound a bit cooler with the stacks...not to mention the fashion aspect.

Im building something that I want to look cool...I dont plan of racing it or anything, but I do want to enjoy the performance of the engine (2275cc).

Ive built a big grip of VWs over the years but this is my first real performance street machine. Im hopeful to get some press with it when it is completed, but only time will tell if that happens.

If putting on the stacks is a major no-no performance wise, than I might reconsider. But admittedly I am after "the look".
