Here's Winston RIGHT after I bought him... I don't think Nick got too many girls with the upholstery looking like that...
and...
He cleaned up pretty well with Simple Green, a scrub brush, and a wet vac, but I'm getting new upholstery soon, I hope.

Thanks, I went to a local upholstery shop today,i am going to show him these pics. New carpet and fresh seat covers, andcurtains should help quite a bit _________________ 86' Wolfsburg weekender 2.1, 4spd, , merian brown |

This where on my donor parts van.
I just pulled the staples off the back board took the the seat and used some simple green soak over night, then trow them in the washer , hung to dry.
the next day staple them back on and installed them on my '84
Voila!
The colors don't match the rear cushion but locally i did had the front seats to match.
I was surprised how well they turned out and it save me a bundle.
I'll be trying this on the next van i work on _________________ Tight is tight... too tight is expensive!!!!
Too many vans and mostly all projects |
