where can i get replacement seat covers similar to this? or is it custom?
Looks like they might be made by Sewfine.

Nope! Not Sewfine. I sewed and embroidered them myself. |

Impressive! Do you do this professionally, or just for yourself?

HI I have an 85 GL that I stripped out completely and then I did a load of sound deadening using FAT MAT. Then I updated the interior using an interior out of a multivan. I also made a few minor changes, like I replaced all the ashtrays with lights. Used an earlier jumpseat as I like that style better than the fold down vomit seats and I built a table/shelf that fits between the front seats. Changed the carpets from Blue to Gray and also customed the main floor and engine cover with a new carpet.
The stripening
The Quietening
The Finishing

Here are some photos from the custom interior that I built with the help of my girlfriend. We are currently on the road testing it out. I must give credit to DriveNachoDrive for the slide out shelf idea. We love that feature!
All built out of Colorado beetle kill pine and a bit of plywood here and there.
You can see more photos and description on our blog linked in my signature. _________________ 1986 Syncro Sunroof EJ22

Me three!
Was that a sunroof van, and then some added pop-top addition?
I like that there's a decent looking headliner, lots of space/cabinets.
Can you elaborate and provide a pic of the "slide out" thingie? _________________ '91 Syncro 16 Reimo Hightop Conversion, eTDI |

Fabulous job!
The puck lights are great, did you have to fabricate some kind of mount for them to fit between the roof and the headliner? _________________ 87 Syncro Hightop Camper

I thought this was in here. but didn't see it. must be another interior pics thread.
anyways. here's apic of the interior of my brother's van. complete with furnace, micor and modified RV propane stove/oven (4 burner cut to 2 burners) still holds a 9x13 pan of lasagna or apple crisp.

I can see why you got that request! It looks wonderful! And also factory, which is quite an achievement.

That fridge is absolutely awesome, so much capacity and removeable too!
I was thinking of buying a Truck Fridge 65 as my Domestic replacement but now I don't know...
Nice ride Timwhy!

Good topic! I am still in the "getting it working more reliably" stage, but am anxious to get to the point where I can have more fun with it. I've enjoyed seeing the interiors of posters.
Link to pinterest with some fitment ideas and possible reference for others.
