Wow, that brings back memories of 1954 Chevies! But I've never seen one on a bus. |

Brazilian would be my guess. I remember a few years ago a bunch of these were floating around at the So. Cal swaps. The rings were prone to cracking. |

Me thinks that ring gets in the way of steering it with the wheel being at a near flat angle!?! _________________ Some people are so busy being clever they don't have time enough to be wise. |

Petri/VDM is who it is made by I think, like the wierd rare horn buttons that show up in the classifieds for high dollars every now & then. I was told by my buddy who worked for VW back in the day that these were add ons to make your bug/bus alittle diffrent then everybody elses. Alittle custom add on part from back in the day. I'm probably wrong though
I agree with pyrOman on this one. _________________ Hoockd on fonicks werkt for mee?

The ring is Brazillian. I had one a few years back that I paid 175 bucks for. It's typical Brazillian crap metal, but kinda cool none the less. The price this guy is asking in retarded, that's why it's been for sale for so long. The ring is maybe 300 bucks tops and the wheel is what it is.....a nice bus wheel. The ring does get in the way for day to day driving because it sits where your forearms usuall rests while cruising. _________________ 53 Hatch Barndoor
