So what is up with this car?Did you sell the visor?the car? |
The visor went to California. I also sold the one very bad cond. semaphore and also sold the top latches and catches.
and well Sam could not get the car at this time......
I have not tried to sell the car yet because I've been busy doing other things. Like buying other bugs. Just bought a 1960 sunroof that had been in a 30 year storage in a barn, but that is for another forum...
I will be listing the 54 bug on Samba in a few days for $500. cash.

Apples and oranges.
You put $100k into a Heb, you have a Heb worth $100k.
You put $100k into a 54 Beetle, you have a beetle worth $25-50k.... _________________ Kevin "Wiggy"

I bought the doors and the drivers quarter. might use them for repair panels or to graft into another car in the future. _________________ '67 deluxe bus w/the little windows

That car is waayyy beyond repair. That thing is CRUNCHED. You'd spend so much $$$ trying to restore that thing, that you would never get close to approximating market value when you were done. Better to be cut up to help other cars and its better than sitting in that field rusting further away. |
I have to agree with Wiggy, that car is beyond ROUGH... _________________ Even my nuts are plated.....

too late. see ocelot's gallery ... he has some pics of the hacked parts
i live so far from US and it pisses me off seeing cars get crushed. no pre 67 vert should be left to rot or hacked when it can be repaired.. _________________ 1960 1200 model 117 deluxe ragtop
