Sam, if you tell me when you wanna go get it like a week before i might be able to get one from king college. It would be the same trailer that i brought the 58 bug down with back a couple months ago.

The visor went to California. I also sold the one very bad cond. semaphore and also sold the top latches and catches.
and well Sam could not get the car at this time......
I have not tried to sell the car yet because I've been busy doing other things. Like buying other bugs. Just bought a 1960 sunroof that had been in a 30 year storage in a barn, but that is for another forum...
I will be listing the 54 bug on Samba in a few days for $500. cash. Laughing

so did this vert get hacked? or sold? or is it being fixed up? whats the deal? im interested! ill drive my new beetle vert all the fuckin way cross the g'damn country, rent a uhaul trailer and tow it out to so cal so it can be built into a respectable concourse 54 vert even if i have to use a 53,54 or 55 oval sedan body and graft on all the vert panels.

too late. see ocelot's gallery ... he has some pics of the hacked parts Sad

i live so far from US and it pisses me off seeing cars get crushed. no pre 67 vert should be left to rot or hacked when it can be repaired..

That car is waayyy beyond repair. That thing is CRUNCHED. You'd spend so much $$$ trying to restore that thing, that you would never get close to approximating market value when you were done. Better to be cut up to help other cars and its better than sitting in that field rusting further away.

I bought the doors and the drivers quarter. might use them for repair panels or to graft into another car in the future. Confused

Apples and oranges.

You put $100k into a Heb, you have a Heb worth $100k.

You put $100k into a 54 Beetle, you have a beetle worth $25-50k....
