complaints:
- dice sucks. it just takes up chat and is completely useless.
- can you make it so it's not case sensitive?
- the pm feature in this chat sucks.
- I hate emoticons anyhow, but 75% of those are useless

It has the ignore feature like one of the previous incarnations did.
The user list does not re-alphabetize when people come and go. _________________ West Virginia State Board of Education v. Barnette, 319 U.S. 624 (1943) |

it's sequential, as new users come to chat, they are placed at the bottom of the list. like the chat before "old chat" did _________________ OGST | CU05 | OGJHC

What sucks about the PM feature? It seems the same to me except it says "whispers".
I will see about changing the home page listing to remove the hidden users. |
The PM doesn't seem to be private, everyone can see what you are saying. _________________ (O\U|U/O) Top Vw (o\UU/o) |

your font color is a one-time use thing; you have to input the color EVERY time you type, so then you get a dozen people chatting at once and no way to quickly differentiate them
the interface is waaaaaaaaaaaaay too busy and all the 'features' take up too much of the screen....
I don't care for 'new chat'...... why was it introduced? _________________ póg mo thóin

There is a check box at the bottom of the screen marked "Persist Font Color".
It would be nice if New Chat had as many colors as Old Chat. As has been stated, people griped about it until there were there for a while and then it grew on them.
Also, when the "/me" command is executed, the New Chat makes it look like the person is making the statement, unlike Old Chat, where it looks like a third party is making the statement.
Old Chat
"/me likes Old Chat"
Icy likes Old Chat.
New Chat
"/me likes New Chat"

No they can't. You're just gullible.
It is nice that the apostrophe works in PM's in New Chat. Just a few tweaks and everyone should settle in comfortably.
Is there any way to decrease the width of the Online User list?
At the same time, can the list of Online Users be modified so the entire user's name fits?
For Example: durhamfirecaptain's name gets cut off. _________________ West Virginia State Board of Education v. Barnette, 319 U.S. 624 (1943) |
