Reproductions are already available here in the US. It might help the guys in Europe save on shipping costs. |

If you mean wiring works, someone posted a little while ago that he doesn't make them without a pattern to work from.
That's a shame because we gave him the 54-55 US and European looms to reproduce a few years ago. He should have made a pattern for the future. _________________ How to Post Photos

i was under the same impression with wiring works. i dont remember too well but i could swear that he said he had other patterns but since i was needing something he didnt have a pattern for(my 53 luxe)i needed to send mine in. and i labeled what needed extending(old harness was cut short and hacked up) what i got was a great product and my old harness returned. after that i kept hearing he didnt have patterns. _________________ www.thebustransfer.com

I can't speak for Wiring Werks but I imagine his first choice would be to use originals as patterns to avoid any confusion. If originals are unavailable I am sure he has some patterns he can work from. |

Hi Kdf-service,
Its a Good idea. My early 51 may need a new wiring harness when its restored this year and im unsure where i can get an exact copy if it does need one.
If you can make them exactly then im sure there is a market for them. What sort of price would they work out at.
Cheers

Based on the pricing of his other harnesses I guess 500 Euro ($US 735). |

I just had wiring werks make a new harness for my barndoor singlecab and I had to send him my original so that he had a pattern to work with, the cost was around $400 bucks. I think he did a great job and he returned my old harness back to me. |

They look nice. Why would I choose to go with one of your harnesses as opposed to the Wiring Works harness? Is the quality better to justify the extra cost? |

The Cabels are in cotton. 6volt stsyems.
Complete with easy to follow instructions.
Cotton cables was used upto 52 buses I think
for the purist this cable is will not do
I'm still looking for someone to get the correct cable colour marking/code
for a 54 bus
Can Wiring Works get the corect cable ? _________________ Luca Brasi's got nothing on me

I don't think they have the correct stripes etc but the base colours are right and they use US wire sizes not metric. Mark Rafferty posted pics of the loom in the 'repro' barndoor thread _________________ 64 356 C Coupe |
