| Ok, I just bought a '78 westy, and there is what looks like a tailpipe sticking out of the drivers side. (middle of the bus) It appears as if it connects to a part of the heating system (It connects to a larger metal box) Does anyone know what this is called, and where to get one? |

It is the dump pipe to unload the heat when you turn the flapper valves off. 77 and back
dumped right out of the flapper valves, but VW thought there was too much heat at the front. Only source I know of is to get a good used one off a 78 or 79. I may be able to locate one. You need the passenger [right] side, correct? |
