Can someone post a couple of detailed pics of how the cab divider is attached at the top & the driver’s side of the van?
I have an “L” channel only on the passenger side B-pillar as of now.
There must’ve been an overzealous hippie needing to remove it for installing God knows what.
Thank you 👍🏼 _________________ Looking for SO34 parts.

Rondusty’s pics are enough for me to go off of I think.
Please tell Clara a friend sent the 5 Kamax bolts for the bulkhead I needed, when I bought the divider from her, she thought she may have extra, please tell her thank you. The panel she sent is amazing quality.
So, there’s a u channel at the bottom as well as the pillars & top? _________________ Looking for SO34 parts.

No U channel at the bottom.
Just put the cab divider pretty much in place but a half inch low,
then lift up so the divider is in the channels at top and sides,
then install the five bolts with big washers.
Actually, first make sure the five threaded inserts have nice threads so the bolts thread in easily by hand. You may want to chase them with a tap, and use a little anti-seize or grease on the threads.

We sold the panelbuses just before the move, so I can't take more pics right now. I think I have some pics of the Acme panel, but not sure where. |

I wish someone would find an NOS box full of those weird-shaped thick foam sculpted NOS foam seals for the upper right and left corners of the divider where the divider meets the inner body "gutter". You know what I mean? They are almost always missing or deteriorated on dividers. I've got a nice used one of one side or the other stored away somewhere, but there is a definite L & R side. I don't think anyone has ever reproduced it for us poor Panel lovers who want to get every detail right! I eventually found a similar thickness sheet of similar grey closed cell foam and using my one used seal, I cut and carved out fairly close reproductions for my '59 SS Panel. But one day I'll see some in someones swap booth and dive on 'em!

I've heard of people carving them out of foam, but they are fussy and I have not gone there.
Yes, there are left and right, mirror images.
here is a thread about cab divider foam wedges:
