I found some nice square cracker tins that I think will fit in there, but am on vacation and not in my westy, could someone measure the inside height of the rear more shallow food storage cupboard? Not to the bottom of the lid, but to the bottom of the fixed "counter" piece the lid closes against.

Thanks!

So is the panty cabinet where you keep them for when you need them, or when you don't? Shocked

Seriously, which cabinet are you thinking of - I guess you mean the rear of the two which have vertically opening doors? Of those two you mean the rear?

I'll go out and measure it on my 82.

Best,

Lanval

Maybe that's what the border patrol was looking for?

I don't know if you're still expecting a straight answer from this thread, but I measured today while I was out working on the van.

The spot directly over the water tank access plate measures 4-3/8" to the bottom of the counter. The spot that I'm measuring in the photo is 4-1/2".

By my guess, that's 20-30 pairs, depending on whether she folds 'em or wads 'em up. Laughing

BoWingo was on the right path, but if you remove the plate that houses the water tank you should be able to get at least an extra hundred or so pairs in there too. Laughing

I was, before I realized my typo, but that was exactly the info I was looking for, and the nice square tins I found are a touch too tall :-/
