Nice . I'll keep,this pic in the top of the Forum just to keep the Purist' colons working overtime.

Maybe zap out the center bar and put a Bay windshield in it and start a new trend

Very excited to find that my red and white 65 Westy I recently picked up calls out on the MCode for Blue White over Velvet Green! Gibraltar Delivery...will be bringing it back to it's original color.

I've seen several European (or maybe just specifically Italian??) buses with the little red stripe on the nose underneath one of the headlights. What does this signify? Were they part of a certain fleet or company back in the day, or just coincidence that I've seen more than one like this?

I've seen that before too- and wondered if it called out the side of the steering wheel on commercial vehicles- to quickly signify that it belonged on a particular side (or either side) of the road?

These stripes were only used in Italy, and only on trucks. As far as I know, the stripe indicates a certain kind of license for transport. 1 stripe is for domestic transport, 2 are for international transports.
