Has anybody ever used the Echlin fuel injectors from Napa? $53.99 each. I’m thinking about getting a set of four and sending my originals out to be cleaned. And then using one or the other set as back up.

This would be for an’87 Vanagon 2.1wbx.

I hope those FI's from the ebay link are good to go since I just ordered them. I have the vancafe fuel rails waiting and then can send my old FI's back for refurb and keep as spares.

Volvo injectors are a dime-a-dozen; if you get bored, head over to www.turbobricks.com and you'll find guys over there are using Ford injectors from mid-90's T-bird turbos because they give more gas or something.

Any thoughts on Bosch 62203 for a waterboxer? It seems the Volvo guys like these. If it fits in a Volvo, it fits in a Waterboxer?

https://www.boschautoparts.com/en/auto/fuel-injectors/port-fuel-injection?partID=62203

Specs:
injectorplanet.com

Bosch ev6 CL fuel injector long injectors size Jetronic Port four hole nozzle conical spray
flow rate 43.5 PSI/ 3 bar; 34.6 lb per hour, 363.1 CC per minute.
12 ohm resistance

They are available new, seem to have the Bosch self cleaning mech and 4 ports at a price less than the EV1 used Bosch injectors.

I know like damn near zero about injection... so swing away.

Edit: just TOO much flow for cold idle?
