When did bardoors change from the small rib cab mat to the moulded in wide flat rib mat? Does anyone have any pictures of an original early small rib mat?

Scotty is this for your van?

I have a tiny peice (10cms square) of what looks like the original mat i found in the remains of the cab of my 52 before i restored it. It has the ribs on it - i can take a pic if it will help.

The floor mat changed at chassis number 20-041712.
This is from the VW bible:

Fussmatte in Fahrerraum
Neu: Profilgummi mit Dichtlippen an Fusshebelausschnitten.

(Floor mat in drivers cab.
New: profile rubber mat with ??? foot lever system.)

Something like that Very Happy

The first picture is as I remember from a 1952 firevan on the VW museum, and the other one is the mat I made for my own panel.

Sorry for the quality but it is what I have Very Happy
