-(thats me in the picture when i was lil)-He traded both ghias for a 60 something truck bus. witch unfortinaly never got. than his 61 bus cought on fire on the free way and sold the chard body for 200$. (skipping ahead) he now owns a 67 bug 67 notch back 61 bus and a 69 bus. And i was so desperate for a VW i bought his 71 bus from him for 300 bucks (it was really worth 50 if that). when i bought it it was striped inside no engine transmission was shot tires are almost gone and so much more. but what can i say i was desperate and i have tons of vw hot wheels and other stuff relating to VW . (sorry if i drown it out to much) O and i even jumped in a dumpster for a broken boogie board that had a vw bus on it Laughing its now hanging on my door Razz

She can sit in it for hours.

I find that an old VW is always a hit with the kids.

thanks, he never makes that face and my camera has a few second delay, so it was by chance that he looked over and for the split second he did that I got the pic, its my favorite

now if I could just get him to get the metal tools away from my alternator, Shocked but when Im out there he has to have a tool and gloves like his dad, despite him trying to use a screw driver on the paint at times its all good because hes having fun so Im happy

I don't know what it is about VW's but they truly are like pets, and that kids love em? When I went to go pick up my 58 that I recently purchased in AZ, my two year old couldn't wait to get in? The Bug is now a family member and will be part of the family for future generations.
