I am building my engine for my Thing now, and it's going to be a 1641 with a mild cam. I am looking at dual carbs, and am wanting some insight as to what are the better carbs for the job, and I am looking at the Empi Dual 34mm EPC or the Weber 34 ICT, what are the pros and cons on both. For the price the EMPIS seem like a good deal. Thanks for any help. anthony |

Here's a link to CB Performance's page listing some of my favorite small duals. A similar kit is available from Scat too, but their web site is a bit lacking!

I've installed several of these kits from CB (or Scat) on customers cars and my single cab. They will work great on your 1641 up to a 1914. Scat even sells a non choked version, if you roll like that!

PS, I like the Scat linkage better. _________________ --- The major difference between a thing that might go wrong and a thing that cannot possibly go wrong is that when a thing that cannot possibly go wrong goes wrong it usually turns out to be impossible to get at and repair.
