I was fixing the front turn signals the other day and noticed that the paint behind the housing and seal was black instead of the Marina Blue that the rest of the car is painted. Looking a little closer, i can see small bits of debris in the paint and the fender beading has been painted over. But I can find no other traces of black on the car... even up under the dash as I'm fussing with the radio speaker (brilliant design btw Rolling Eyes ) How can I find out what color my Square was originally?

Perhaps the fender was a replacement and was painted to match Think Question Anyhow, my 67 square has a sticker under the hood near the fuel filler neck along the front edge of the trunk and it lists the name of the color and the paint code.

Your original color sticker is located under the hood on the left side right next to the jack mount. My guess would be that the OG color is Marina blue and you have a replacement fender. I have yet to see an old quickie repaint go so far as to paint under the dash.
