well, I know theres some waves and variations (imperfections) on my 71' super beetle's hood that I know I will never get out of the hood. By no means is this project gonna be restoration quality, soo.......

What colors are less revealing as in showing off dents? I know its in the lighter hues, I was thinking whites and yellows (which is what I'm planning on painting the bug) would show less..

am I right?
advice?

You can get away with more imperfections with white. Flat paint works well too.

Yellow will work but white shows less shadows.

There are several colors that will show less damage, lighter colors work well..........stay away from really dark colors and metallics...........any paint is better that just rollin' primer.
