Has anyone found a vendor that will supply carbon fiber body parts for the beetle. I can find fiberglass but not carbon fiber.
What kind of weight savings can I expect if I replace the steel fenders with fiberglass, or carbon fiber? Is it worth the cost? |

What type of racing will you be doing? That will decide if the cost is worth it. _________________ Glenn

Street racing I guess, just really looking to make my SB lighter so it will perform better on the street. I may take it to the track from time to time but usually just on the street. I'm having a 2300+ engine built now with dual 44's. I've had corvetts in the past but just wasen't satisfied with their performance. I thought I would try a VW to see if they gave a better "RUSH" |

I don't see anything, are you sure this is the correct site? _________________ "Saying what we think gives us a wider conversational range than saying what we know."
