Anybody made a horn to sound like Herbie's? Think I saw where they used a rheostat to get the sound. Just thought the kids would get a kick out of it.

Herbie makes different sounds that mimic talking kinda. I thought I saw that the special effects people did this with a stock horn.

rheostat is the way to go. You'll have to play around with it. In the last movie HFL they did more with herbies sound. I like the old Beep Beep best!
