what kind of carbs do you have?whatever they are make sure they are DIALED IN to as close to perfect as you can get, anything but solex and you may have to fine tune every couple of weeks depending on your driving style.give the car a good thorough tune up and see what it does for ya.

replace all your fuel lines immediately, use fuel line hose clamps. Check your vent hose at the filler hole, make sure your tank isn't leaking. What are you getting for gas mileage?
Cheers

When was the last time you:

Changed the plugs, cap, rotor, wires

Set the Timing

Adjusted the valves

Cleaned the carbs

Adjusted the Idle MIXTURE

Set the Idle SPEED
