Lately I've been having a problem starting up my bus. It's a 78. It'll start for just a second and then die, I can do this over and over eventually it will start. It will also cut out for a second when I'm driving down the freeway. Also I have been unable to find a vacuum diagram, the lines are a mess.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks
-Jon

You need to get the Bentley factory manual, and check out www.type2.com for some good info on the FI system ect.
Check out your hoses and replace all you can, also have you checked your points/ distrib cap/ wired ect. lately? ( closed up burnt points)
the cylinder head temp sensor is also a troublemaker...
