69 bus engine

I recently bought a bus and was on the trip home (about 300 miles into the trip) my engine quit on me. It needs to be replaced ASAP and since I am only 20 years old and still go to college I have to do this for as cheap as possible. PLease let me know if you know where to go from this point. This is my first VW. Thanks

What happened to it. Did it completely blow the engine or did it just quit? The more you can tell everyone the easy it will be to diagnose the problem. Where are you from? you may be able to find someone that lives close by with VW's that may be able to help also.

Check out the rescue list on type2.com. It's called A.I.R.S., maybe somebody is close to you.
