I have only seen one for sale here on the Samba, and that was a while ago. I haven't seen one since, anywhere... Not ebay or swap meets. Heck I never even see them on the EMPI'd out cars at the shows. What gives? Are these things out there. I've had a wanted ad for a long time too. Does anyone at least have some good pictures of one (from all angles)?

EMPI Day / Night mirrors were for '58-'64 1200 Sedans and '65-'66 and will also fit '67's
Also for Type 3 1500's, The Type 3 Day/ Night mirror was advertised in chrome only but there was also in
White plastic base but I don't know if they were sold through EMPI. I have an NOS chrome mirror with an
EMPI sticker and I also have an NOS White base mirror with the same EMPI part # on the box and the same
part # from the White mirror is under the EMPI sticker so I guess the manufacture was the same.

Critter1 On your Wanted Ad you should also post pics. and the year mirror your looking for.
It took me some years to collect mine, I have seen the mirrors show up here and there.
First mirror is '58-'64,...............................'65-'66/'67,.......................Type 3 1500 chrome and the white mirror

It's a good catch, the mirror you're looking for is a bit old but it's good!

Is there an EMPI stamping on these mirrors? If so I will know what to look for in my search.
