I left out of town for the week for spring break and left my bus in Colorado. I have not been driving it much befor break because Im saving it for the summer. Anyway, I started it for the first time today, and it had a little white smoke when cold. Once it warmed up it was gone. Do I need to worry much. Thanks. Also, it has been cold outside this past week while I was gone and today. Does that matter. I will not really be driving it till this summer, when I need it to get to the other side of the country. So will it be a problem I need to worry about in the summer. Thanks a lot. Much appreciated.

| If it just a puff at start up, I would not worry. My bug dose that and it is my daily driver for 3 years now. Make sure you have tuned up good for a long trip. i.e. oil valves tune up. You know the drill. What part of Co. are you from? |

Don't think it's anything to worry about !!
Like when it's Cold out and you can see your Breath !! It's just that there's some moisture in the pipes that is burning off( heating up_ , creating that white smoke. |

| The smoke you see is probably just worn valve seats...when the motor cools off a small amount of oil seeps past the valve into the cylinder and is then burned off when you start the car. when the motor warms up and every thing expands from the heat no more smoke...I would not worry about it, but now is a good time to start saving up for that next rebuild |
